Robin Toan - Clarinet Teacher
Robin has a Master of Music degree from the New Zealand School of Music and an ATCL
in clarinet performance from the Trinity College London. She has been teaching for over
10 years. Many of her students have been successful in Trinity College and Royal Schools
Examinations. She teaches students from beginner to advanced that vary in age from
8 years to adult. She has experience in teaching both private and group lessons and has
taught at a number of schools including the Howick School of Music, Baradene College,
Rodney College and the Auckland Community Learning Centre. Robin is currently
lecturing music at Unitec New Zealand.
Robin believes that learning to play an instrument should be fun and that a high standard of technique and musicianship lead to lifelong enjoyment.
